Guests using Jackson Hole’s native mobile app to track their ski data were experiencing inconsistencies, as their stats weren’t syncing with their Jackson Insider Web Accounts. This disconnect led to a fragmented and frustrating user experience.
Mapleton Hill developed an API to extract ski data from the mobile app and seamlessly integrate it into guests’ Jackson Insider Accounts—ensuring real-time, cross-platform synchronization.
Guests now enjoy a cohesive digital experience with a unified view of their ski stats across both mobile and web platforms, reinforcing engagement and brand trust.
Jackson Hole Mountain Resort faced a disconnect between its JH Insider mobile app and web platform. While users could view their skier stats in the mobile app, the same data wasn’t visible when accessing their JH Insider Accounts on the web. This inconsistency created a fragmented experience for guests who expected their ski data to follow them across platforms.
To solve this challenge, we partnered with Jackson Hole to implement a seamless data integration between platforms. Our team built a robust API layer that captures skier data at the end of each ski day and maps it to the appropriate JH Insider Account. This RESTful integration ensures data is no longer siloed—enabling full visibility regardless of where or how users log in.
With this integration in place, ski stats now follow the user across devices, delivering a consistent, frictionless experience. Guests enjoy full access to their performance data on both mobile and web without having to think twice. Behind the scenes, a complex technical challenge has been solved—resulting in a seamless digital journey that aligns with the expectations of today’s connected skier.
