Portal Thermaculture partnered with Mapleton Hill to design and build the platform that runs their entire business. From member onboarding and session booking to payments, subscriptions, and multi-location admin operations, every customer and staff interaction flows through the system we built together. As Portal expands from its Colorado roots into new markets, the platform scales with them.
Member Experience
A complete digital experience for contrast therapy members, from first sign-up through daily wellness tracking and session management.
Member Portal
A complete member experience from first visit to daily use, designed mobile-first so members get a native app-quality experience right from their browser. Members create accounts, sign waivers, select their home club, set engagement preferences, and manage their profiles. The dashboard surfaces everything a member needs: upcoming sessions, past visits, credits, membership status, featured classes and events at their location, and quick access to booking.


Portal Lab
A wellness tracking experience unique to Portal. After each session, members log their sauna and cold plunge rounds with duration and temperature, add notes, and upload photos. The platform aggregates this into personal stats: total visits, average temps, cumulative time, and trends over time. It turns contrast therapy from a single session into an ongoing practice.
Credits & Subscriptions
A flexible commerce system built on Stripe. Members purchase single credits, discounted credit packs, or recurring memberships. Subscriptions auto-renew at configurable frequencies with support for pausing, cancellation, and discount codes. Members can share credits with others and manage their payment methods, while the system handles all billing logic, proration, and transaction history.

Mobile-First Design
Every screen was designed mobile-first, delivering a native app-quality experience entirely through the browser — no app store download required.

Admin Portal
The operational hub for Portal's staff. Admins manage live sessions by checking guests in, marking no-shows, and handling cancellations. The customer servicing view gives staff full visibility into any member's account with the ability to manage memberships, adjust credits, process payments with card-on-file, book or cancel sessions, and approve location change requests. Smart alert badges surface members who need attention: unsigned waivers, expiring memberships, unpaid balances, and first-time visitors.


Reporting & Analytics
Dashboards and reports that give Portal's leadership visibility into business performance across every location. The admin dashboard shows per-club KPIs including active memberships, credits, new customer growth, churn rate, and session usage. Detailed reports break down service mix, membership types and status, demographics, and trends over time with the ability to filter by individual club or view the full portfolio.
